Bonhams are holding a HOME & interiors sale in Edinburgh this week on Wednesday and Thursday.
There are some beautiful things on sale from a toast warmer to early Twentieth Century handbags with silver clasps, chairs and chaise tongues to something to jazz up your afternoon tea sessions.
We had a preview of some of the silver which is included in the lots on sale. If you want to be really fancy with your afternoon tea then you might like the George III Irish silver epergne (£3,000-4,000) perfect for cakes and scones.
There is also a French ewer and basin– splendidly adorned with a frieze depicting the Dance of the Willis (from the ballet Giselle) which you might like to keep on hand to freshen sticky fingers (£5,000-8,000).
The tea itself comes courtesy of a rococo revival tea kettle and stand (£600-800)..
The HOME & interiors sale itself will be held on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd of February at Bonhams, 22 Queen Street Edinburgh EH2.
