After a sell-out album launch gig at Hoxton Hall in London last May and a UK-wide tour to follow, singer-songwriter Adam Beattie and his ever-shifting band ‘The Consultants’ will return to the house.
Adam performed his best known song A Song Of One Hundred Years at the Union Chapel, London in January this year to a crowd of over 600 people, as part of a collective project called Band Of Burns – A tribute to the life and work of Robert Burns. Soundhouse at The Traverse
Taking their name from the Scottish Gaelic word for kinship, ‘Gaelic Supergroup’ Dàimh (pronounced dive) is a 5-piece band based in Lochaber in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. The group is a long-established favourite at folk festivals in Scotland, Ireland and across Europe, and in 2014 won the “Eiserner Eversteiner” European Folk Music Award in the 23nd German Folkherbst competition. In December 2016 they won Folk Band of the Year in the Scots Trad Music Awards.
