Caledonia Pride aim to break their nine-game losing run in the Women’s British Basketball League this weekend.

They travel to meet two teams in the basement area in the ten-strong table with the first stop in Wales.

On Saturday (4pm) they face Cardiff Met Archers who are eighth in the table with four points having won two of their 12 fixtures.

Archers lost 81-47 at Sevenoaks Suns this week in a match where TV cameras were on site.

And on Sunday the Scots go in against Oaklands Wolves at Oaklands College (2.30pm), the side which props up the table with ten straight defeats.

Coach Bart Sengers is looking for a performance which pressed league leaders Nottingham Wildcats hard in the two games.

And a first win would be a massive lift for Scotland’s first women’s professional basketball team.
