Jacob Johnston today told his team-mates: let’s give our goalie an easy night.
Travis Fullerton has been key for Edinburgh Capitals this season, and he will be pivotal tonight (6.30) when Fife Flyers visit.
They are likely to bring a big supporter with them and Johnston does that Catalyst find turn out in numbers to cheer the side to a much-needed win.
Johnston, now in his second season with the club, said: “Our goalie gives us a chance to win each and every night, so it’s up to us to respond and make some adjustments in order to compete with the top teams in the league on a consistent basis.”
He added: “We didn’t play a full 60 minutes (against Belfast Giants).
“We have to be more consistent and disciplined each and every shift. Elsewhere, Dundee Stars entertain Braehead Clan in a key game between teams close to each other in the Elite League standings.”
