We are told that more than 50,000 people have logged on to EdiFreeWiFi in the city centre since it began.
It is now in place due to the council entering a 10 year contract with intechnologyWiFi to provide wifi and improved phone coverage in the city centre.
This allows you to save all those precious minutes from your data plans for the time when you really need them!
And the good news is that the company has assured the council that they will be able to cope with any increase in demand at New Year.
