The Open Eye Gallery will present a new exhibition this autumn with works by Glen Scouller RSW RGI: Colour and Line produced in the last 45 years.

Scouller, born in 1950, creates intuitive and expressive Scottish landscapes and still life works. Radiant colour, light and compositional skill are inherent qualities in his paintings.

Born in Glasgow and studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1968-73, Scouller’s work  has featured in over 40 exhibitions since 1977 both in Scotland and elsewhere.

The artist was elected a member of the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts in 1989, received the David Cargill Award in 2006, and of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour in 1997. His work features in many corporate and public collections worldwide including The South African Government, The Scottish Government, De Beers and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

The Exhibition will be held at The Open Eye Gallery from 5-21 September 2016.
