The appropriately titled Let Them Call It Mischief theatre company promises its Goth and blood-besotted audiences an afternoon of, Dracula’ meets ’39 Steps’ meets ‘Black Adder’ in this hilarious take on the best-loved classic.’

This World premiere from writers Danny Wainwright and Daniel Hallissey plays fast and loose with Bram Stoker’s classic tale of Transylvanian cursed Count turned bad, turned wolf, turned illegal immigrant with a relish for tasty virgins. (A wasted career on the tabloids there, Bram!)

Expect irreverent silliness, anachronisms and a frankly bizarre segue in to the Suffragette movement.

The Mischiefs have form here with generous interpretations abducted from the literary canon such as ‘The Final Revelations Of Sherlock Holmes’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’. Dracula marks their first bite at the Fringe cherry. A show to get your teeth in to – the  Mischiefs are staking their reputation on it…
