The family of Abdul Rehman who sadly died yesterday in a road traffic collision on Cliftonhall Road, near to Ratho, have issued the following statement through Police Scotland:
“Abdul Rehman was a loving son, brother and uncle who put everyone before himself.
“His family meant the world to him and he meant the same to us. We are absolutely heartbroken.
“We are so extremely grateful for all the kind messages and support we continue to receive from all who knew Abdul Rehman.
“We would like to take this opportunity to request privacy.
“We hope people will understand the need for us to have time alone to grieve at this very sensitive time ”
John graduated from Telford College in 2010 with an HNC in Practical Journalism and since then he worked for the North Edinburgh News, The Southern Reporter, the Irish News Review and The Edinburgh Reporter. In addition he has been published in the Edinburgh Evening News and the Hibernian FC Programme.
