Scotland’s U18 Men are set to leave for Austria later this week as the team get ready to compete at this year’s European Championships, Division B.

Having worked hard all season long and with a number of preparation games under their belt, the team are looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead of them.

Head Coach of the U18 Men, Craig Nicol is looking forward to the tournament: “Our team are working very hard together to prepare for our group games. We know how much of a challenge 5 games in 5 days is at Division B but we are all looking forward to playing Romania on Thursday.”

Scotland will open their campaign against Romania on Thursday before facing Georgia, Sweden, Portugal and the Slovak Republic in the group stages of the competition.

Team captain Brendan Mullan believes the team are ready for the challenge: “We know that Division B is going to be tough and the standard of basketball will be high. We’ve prepared well as a full team and all of the guys are ready to go. We’re all looking forward to our first challenge against Romania on Thursday.”
