Police have today released CCTV footage of a man they wish to trace in connection with a serious assault outside a city-centre nightclub late last year.
The incident happened around 3.45am on Sunday, November 2, in Hope Street Lane near the Devil’s Cut venue.
The victims suffered a number of injuries as a result of this incident and Police Scotland is pursuing various lines of enquiry.
The male is described as white with tanned skin, between 18 and 25-years-old, a stocky build and a sleeve tattoo on his left arm. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark ‘puffa’ style gilet and dark jeans.
Detective Constable Iain Wallace said: “We are keen to establish the identity and whereabouts of the man pictured on CCTV so that we can speak with him in connection with this investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him, or who has any other information relevant to this enquiry, is asked to contact police immediately.
“Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively, the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
