The Big Dinner

Today in Princes Street Gardens you could have a shot on the Double Carousel. This is how Edinburgh’s Christmas describe the experience:

Head down to East Princes Street Gardens and ride our beautiful, double-tiered, musical carousel.

Tickets are date-specific but there are no set time slots — admission is on a first come, first served basis. Please allow extra time if you plan to visit during busy periods.

Maybe you could send us a photo if you get there?

Gordon Macdonald MSP represents Edinburgh Pentlands and regularly publishes a newsletter advising his constituents what is going on in the area. Click here to read it.

You may have heard the name Olivia Giles and you may also have heard about The Big Dinner. If not then you could book yourself a place at the January event when you can find out about both.

Olivia had meningitis which she overcame only with complete determination, as she lost both hands and feet due to the effects of the illness. Now she runs The Big Dinner which aims to raise £500,000 for charity on one evening in March 2015 – and you can help.
