Suzanne Pilley

The crime programme will be making a new and fresh appeal for information leading to discovery of her remains tomorrow evening.

David Gilroy was convicted of the murder of Suzanne Pilley and sentenced to life  imprisonment with a recommendation that he serve a minimum of 18 years in prison. Suzanne’s remains have not yet been found, and an appeal by Gilroy earlier this year to have his case reviewed was rejected by the UK Supreme Court.  The case made legal history when the sentencing was televised.

This BBC Crimewatch video shows interviews with Suzanne’s parents and a reconstruction of her last known movements in the city when she was travelling to work in Thistle Street on 4 May 2010.
