Discover the secrets of Australia’s oldest family-owned winery at The Rutland’s Yalumba Wine Dinner on Thursday 27 October.

Yalumba is situated in the heart of the lush Barossa valley, in South Australia, and Yalumba winemaker Jane Ferrari will talk guests through chosen wines from the region which have been matched with a four course menu specially designed by The Restaurant at the Rutland’s award-winning Head Chef David Haetzman. Guests will take a journey of discovery through South Australia and enjoy specially selected wines which showcase the variety and quality of wines for which the region is world-renowned.

Susi Conchar, Head of Sales, Marketing & PR for Signature Pub Group, says: “This is an exclusive opportunity to experience fabulous wines matched with exquisite food created by our very own David Haetzman. Our guests can look forward to a real feast for the senses, as well as a fascinating talk from our expert for the evening, Jane Ferrari.”

David Haetzman adds: “I’ve enjoyed the creative process of matching dishes with Jane’s amazing choice of wines, and the menu showcases the high quality of the sustainable local produce used while complementing the wines perfectly.”

The wine dinner is the first in a range of events celebrating the Rutland’s exciting new Kyloe Restaurant & Grill, to be opened later this month.

Tickets – including all wines and four course dinner – cost £45 (£40 for The Rutland membership card holders) and are available from  Imogene Deery on 0131 221 9978 / email: imogene@therutlandhotel.com.
