This comedy sketch show by Steve McNeil and Sam Pamphilon was a show that had some of the audience laughing and loving it whilst others, like the reviewer, did not seem to understand the brand of lads’ humour.

Whilst the acting was good, there was a feeling that something was lacking and that they were ‘flying by the seat of their pants’ .  Several of the short sketches were based on one-upmanship between Steve and Sam which many guys of the public would easily associate with.

The pair did have an ability to laugh at some of their own sick jokes which on one or two occasions left them corpsing on stage.

The show was reviewed on the final day of the run, so there was a demob-happy feeling in the air and this might have been the reason why the ending felt a little like an anti-climax.
