The Save Inverleith Park campaign has advised us that:- “The Report on Inverleith Park will NOT now go to the Policy and Strategy Committee on Tuesday 9th August. It is delayed until Tuesday 6th September. We will know what it says on 31st August” The matter was on the agenda for 9 August but will clearly now be delayed. Our photo shows a slightly more peaceful corner of Inverleith Park.

The BBC reports that the final inspection of the panda enclosure will take place in October when the Chinese delegates will visit Edinburgh to cast their eye over the handiwork. Maybe then we will get the pandas for Christmas?
