National Museums Scotland are looking for a new member of staff to work with them as Visitor Services Assistant.
The advert is as follows:-
Your role will be to provide high quality customer service to visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
It is essential that you have first hand experience of working in a customer focused role together with a real interest and enthusiasm for history and our collections. Ideally you will have experience of ticketing/cash handling and conversational knowledge of a language other than English. An awareness of health and safety at work is important while a recent first aid qualification would be useful.
We have three types of contracts available:
· 35 hours per week worked over a five day over seven day rotational shift pattern, (permanent contract)
· 18 hours per week worked over a three days over seven day rotational shift pattern, (permanent contract)
· 15 hours per week worked over two days over seven day rotational shift pattern (temporary contract)
