Part of The Scottish Coastal Rowing Project, the Queensferry Rowing Club launched their boat at the Harbour  in South Queensferry.

The procession to the harbour was led by the Town Crier Lindsay Munro, the boat was blessed by Lord Provost George Grubb.

The Queensferry Rowing Club Patron, The Earl of Hopetoun, proposed the vote of thanks, after which the boat was named the “Ferry Lass” by Queensferry Ferry Fair Queen, Holly Taylor.

It was then launched and spectators were invited to participate in rowing the boat.
