Taylor Wimpey at Pinkhill in Corstorphine is encouraging everyone to wear it pink for Breast Cancer Campaign this year.

The company is donating £25* per visitor to the show apartment at its Pinkhill development, Pinkhill Park in Corstorphine from Friday 29 October until Sunday 31 October, 2010 – aiming to raise £1,000 for the charity.  Their site management team will also don pink hard-hats in a show of support for the event.

As well as a tour around the show apartment, visitors will receive a complimentary glass of pink bubbly, whilst knowing they’ve helped to make a donation to the charity.  So why not pop along to Pinkhill and Taylor Wimpey will make sure the charity receives £25 for every visitor!

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer and one woman in nine will be affected by it during her lifetime in the United Kingdom.

Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said- “Wear it Pink, supported by Vanish, is a fun and simple way to raise funds for research into breast cancer, so join our team at the Pinkhill development in Corstorphine for a complimentary glass of pink fizz, the chance to wander around the show apartment knowing that your visit has earned £25 for the Charity.”

Pinkhill in Corstorphine is located on Pinkhill Park, just off Glasgow Road.  Opening hours are Thursday to Monday, 10am-5.30pm.  The collection for the wear it pink campaign will be collected from Friday 29 October- Sunday 31 October.  Visit www.taylorwimpey.co.uk for development details, or visit www.wearitpink.co.uk for more information on the Charity.
