TV this week features for a change a few things The Reporter might be interested in watching, or even recording for the dark nights ahead.

Programmes like How to Take Stunning Pictures on Channel 5 Tuesday 28th September 2010 at 19.30, Highland Emergency on Channel 5 Wednesday 29th September at 19.30, Nigella invites you into her Kitchen on BBC2 on Thursday 30th at 20.00 to find out how to make really skinny-making things like chocolate peanut butter cheesecake and Friday on ITV at 21.00 you can watch Piers Morgan interview Sir Alan Sugar….But of course by now you have already missed the best radio of the week and will have to listen again – Desert Island Discs on Sunday morning at 11.15 on Radio 4 featured the one and only Sir Tom Jones with Kirsty Young who declared that she just loved her job….when he sang specially for her live in the studio….

So there you are – you don’t have to go anywhere. If you want to become a couch potato this week go right ahead….And then you can start watching The Commonwealth Games from Friday when BBC1 has a preview programme at 13.30.

If on the other hand you really do not want to become a couch potato then you could get yourself out to one of the swimming pools we mention on our information page or indeed you could go along to Drumsheugh Baths which has a range of activities from yoga to swimming lessons to suit all ages. You have to become a member first, but apparently there is no waiting list at the moment.
