Queensferry Lifeboat

A father and daughter from Craighall were rescued yesterday afternoon from the Firth of Forth after their dinghy overturned. A Pilot Cutter from Granton rescued both from the water and they were safely on board when the lifeboat from RNLI Queensferry arrived.

Thereafter the RNLI righted the dinghy and towed it back to Port Edgar.

The RNLI crew then transported them to Port Edgar where they recovered with a hot shower, apparently none the worse for their ordeal.
