Thistle defeated holders Barnton Park 3-2 to lift the Scottish Padel Cup for the first time in a closely fought contest at the Racket Barn, Glasgow.
But there was disappointment for Edinburgh Sports Club women who were edged out by a similar margin against West of Scotland.
Thistle, who like their opponents are sponsored by Game4Padel were captained by Ross Murdoch, who said; “A brilliant day. Great to have come through some close matches.”
Also representing Thistle in the fourth instalment of the Scottish Cup were Sammy Ralston, Calum Bowemaker and Alan Macdonald.
Barnton Park fielded Andy Burgess, Adam Irvine, David Holmes and Will Lyburn.
Taking the court for Edinburgh Sports Club were Laura Watson, Daniela Bellini, Mhairi Wrench and Harriet Balloch.
