Hibs have signed Serbian international Marko Ivezić from German side Holstein Kiel, subject to international clearance and visa approval.
The 24-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the club and becomes the eighth addition to David Gray’s squad this summer.
Born in Belgrade, Ivezić began his senior career with FK Voždovac, making 71 appearances before moving to Germany with Holstein Kiel in 2023.
At 6′ ft 3′, Ivezić carries a strong, physical presence in the centre of defence and brings with him impressive experience in Germany across the top two divisions.
Whilst in his first season at the Club, he was part of the Holstein Kiel side that secured promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history. The following 2024/25 campaign, he made a further 23 appearances in the German top-flight.
Ivezić has also represented Serbia at U21 and senior level, making his full international debut in a 2-1 victory over the United States.

“He’s very versatile, which gives us another option within the squad, and at 24, he is at an age where he has his best years ahead of him and we believe he is primed and ready to fit right into the squad.”
