The public have been advised to avoid the Restarig Avenue area after reports of a potential ‘suspicious package’ being found
Police have closed the road between Loganlea Avenue and Loganlea Drive.
The EOD (“Emergency services and Explosive Ordnance Disposal) are currently in attendance.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Restalrig Ave is closed between Loganlea Ave and Loganlea Drive due to a report of a potentially suspicious item.
“Emergency services and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) are in attendance.
“A cordon is in place as a precaution.
“The public is asked to avoid the area.”
