Gregor Poynton, MP for Livingston, is to host a coffee morning for his constituents at Dechmont Memorial Hall on 29 August, from 10am to 12 noon.

He wants to offer constituents the opportunity to meet him in person, hear about a local and national update, ask questions and raise issues directly with him.

There will also be an opportunity for residents to discuss individual constituency cases and local concerns with Gregor on a one-to-one basis.

Mr Poynton said: “It’s really important to me that I hold regular opportunities like this to meet constituents face-to-face, hear directly about the issues that matter to them and make sure people have the chance to raise concerns with me.

“Whether it’s a local issue, a constituency case or a wider national issue, these meetings are a valuable way for me to listen, understand what people are experiencing and take those concerns forward.

“I’d encourage anyone in Dechmont and the surrounding area to come along, have a coffee and say hello. No booking is required, and I look forward to seeing as many people as possible on Saturday.”

The coffee morning will take place at Dechmont Memorial Hall, 71 Main Street, Dechmont, EH52 6LJ, from 10am to 12 noon on Saturday 29th August.

No booking is required.
