Fragments Theatre Group will be debuting their new psychological drama, The Woman in The Box, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The play explores the objectification of women in a totalitarian society through the story of a woman trapped in a glass cabinet at an art gallery.
When two thieves break into the gallery, a janitor is forced to decide whether to help them free the captive woman or uphold the rules of his society.
Naomi Brown and Victoria Ucheobi alternate in the lead role, meaning audiences will not know which actor they will see until the performance begins.

The 50-minute production uses naturalistic scenes and physical theatre to examine themes of patriarchy, power, classism, and sexism.
Set in an exclusive art gallery, the narrative focuses on the collision of power, status, and gender within an abstract dystopian world.
Fragments Theatre Group, a collaborative company focused on socially conscious theatre, intends this production to be the first in a series exploring themes of oppression, control, and human resilience.
The Woman in The Box will run at Surgeons Hall Haldane Theatre (theSPACEUK) on 24, 26 and 28 August at 7:15pm.
Standard tickets are £13, with concessions and family tickets available for £10. The production has an age guidance of 16+.
A preview performance is also scheduled to take place at LMA London earlier in the month.
