Edinburgh badminton ace Christine Black has excelled at the Belgian Seniors Open by winning the ladies doubles then reaching the singles final.
Christine’s successes came in the 65+/70+ group and in the doubles she partnered Marjan Ridder (Netherlands) to an undefeated run in a round robin event to claim the title.
The singles saw Christine edged out 19-21, 15-21 by England’s Susan Tooke.
Many competitors used the Belgian event as preparation for the upcoming European Seniors tournament in Italy.
