An Edinburgh fashion designer has had her work worn for a second time by presenter Claudia Winkleman on hit television series The Celebrity Traitors.
Judy R. Clark had her lace shirt featured during the prominent round table segment of the reality programme broadcast on Thursday, 15 October.
The prime-time television appearance follows the rapid sale of two pieces from the independent designer’s previous collection, which sold out within hours of being shown on the series on Friday, 9 October.
The garment is manufactured entirely in Scotland using traditional 19th-century looms, highlighting historical local craftsmanship to a wide national viewing audience.

The item worn by Winkleman, 54, on the BBC show is a specially adapted version of the Cream Victorian Lace Shirt, which originates from the Edinburgh designer’s Lace Noir Collection.
It is designed and meticulously handmade in Scotland, specifically utilising Madras lace woven in the region of Ayrshire by local manufacturer MYB Textiles.
The Ayrshire facility currently operates as Scotland’s only remaining lace mill and is recognised as the sole producer globally that continues to manufacture patterned lace on original Nottingham lace looms.
The tailored shirt features a high ruffled collar, full gathered sleeves, and meticulously ruffled cuffs, combining traditional Victorian clothing aesthetics with modern styling.
Following the nationwide television broadcast, the garment has been made available to order by the public for £450.
Due to the extensive production process and the fact it is manufactured in Scotland, the item is strictly made to order and requires a shipping period of three to four weeks for customers.
The Edinburgh-based designer actively recommends that interested customers order one size larger than their usual fit due to the highly delicate nature of the traditional lace material used in the construction of the piece.
Judy R. Clark said: “Seeing Claudia in the lace shirt at the round table is a moment I’ll never forget.
“The response to her first look in pieces from my Ebony collection was amazing, and it means so much to now see this lace, woven here in Scotland by MYB Textiles, on screen too.
“It’s incredibly special to see Scottish craftsmanship reaching such a huge audience.”
Operating from her studio in the Scottish capital, Clark primarily focuses on creating hand-tailored womenswear that incorporates heritage materials such as Harris Tweed, Scottish lace, and various antique fabrics.

Her design work has steadily gained significant recognition within the broader fashion industry over recent years.
Garments created by the designer have previously been worn by high-profile public figures and musicians, including Annie Lennox, Emeli Sandé, Freya Ridings, KT Tunstall, and Courtney Love.
The designer was also previously highlighted by British Vogue, which officially named her as a talent to watch within the fashion sector.
In addition to high-profile television exposure, she has received formal industry recognition throughout her career.
These accolades include securing the Designer of the Year title at the Scottish Style Awards, as well as being a recipient of the JOLOMO & PSYBT Award for her contributions to design and business.
The continued exposure generated by high-viewership programmes like The Celebrity Traitors underlines the significant commercial impact that national television styling can have on independent Scottish fashion businesses and traditional textile manufacturers.
