Hibernian Women Head Coach Joelle Murray has added Calum Smith to her coaching staff ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Smith will join Hibs Women as Assistant Coach, having already linked up with the the players during our training camp in the Republic of Ireland earlier this month.
Most recently, he has served as Director of Development at American club Georgia Impact.
In his role, he has earned promotion with the men’s squad in the UPSL and won the EA League championship with the U19 squad – serving as head coach for both teams.
He previously spent time as Assistant Manager at Dundonald Bluebell and First Team Coach at Bonnyrigg Rose after his 22-year playing career in the Scottish leagues came to an end.
Murray said: “I’m delighted to welcome Calum to Hibernian Women. From the moment I spoke with him I got a great feeling about him and since he’s come in, he’s brought a fantastic manner and a wealth of experience that has already had a positive impact on the group.
“He’s someone who builds strong relationships quickly, and that relatability has allowed him to integrate seamlessly with both the players and staff in a very short space of time.
“Calum’s knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm are clear to see every day on the training pitch. He’s a great fit for the environment we’re continuing to build here, and I’m looking forward to working alongside him as we push the team forward this season.”
