A student textile designer from Edinburgh College of Art has been recognised by her selection for the TEX+ showcase.
Poppy Morgan’s work was selected by an expert industry panel and it will be shown at the Chelsea College of Arts on 15 to 16 July. TEX+ is the only charity which supports emerging textile professionals and helps graduates make the move from studying to industry.
It relaunched last year under its new name and continues the work of Texprint and TexSelect with their many alumni including Emma J Shipley, Margo Selby and Emma Sewell, alongside textile professionals working with brands including Nike, Chanel, Burberry, Paul Smith, Pentland Brands and Balenciaga.
After Chelsea a elect group will be invited to show their work at Première Vision Paris, one of the world’s leading international textile trade fairs, from 1 – 3 September 2026.

The final 25 designers will be selected to exhibit at the TEX+ Showcase at Chelsea College of Arts. The two-day event will include a private view and a series of professional practice panels designed to mentor and support graduates as they transition into industry.
