Edinburgh Schools excelled when Cricket Scotland held their annual hard ball competition over two age groups.
Winners were Stewart’s Melville (boys 18) and Merchiston Castle (boys 15) as well as The Mary Erskine School (girls 18) and Fettes College (girls 15).
In completing their double in a competition hosted by Strathallan School Stew Mel overcame George Watson’s College.
The girls competition was played at Fettes which made Mary Erskine’s victory over a host side all the more impressive.
