Edinburgh Monarchs Academy continued their perfect start to the season with a 57-33 win at Buxton Bulls and team manager, Scott Wilson, was delighted with the effort.

The squad led from start to finish and the whole team contributed to the win.

Wilson (pictured right by Nigel Duncan) said the scoreline suggested it was a comfortable afternoon, but it wasn’t, as Monarchs had to battle for their points.

The result leaves the Academy sitting at the top the National Development League and they are next in action on Friday when the same opponents head to Armadale.
