Police have arrested and charged a 30-year-old man in connection with a number of housebreakings,
The incidents took place in East Lothian and the Scottish Borders between Wednesday, 10 June and Sunday, 14 June, 2026.
The properties were in Haddington, Drem and Innerleithen.
Officers said that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and their enquiries are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with housebreakings in the Borders and East Lothian.
“Properties were targeted in Innerleithen, Haddington and Drem between Wednesday, 10 June and Sunday, 14 June, 2026.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
