Hibs Women have announced that Linzi Taylor has penned a one-year contract extension with the Club.
The experienced centre-back has signed a new deal to extend her stay until Summer 2027.
Taylor joined the Club in June 2024 and quickly became indispensable at the back, playing a vital role in the 2024/25 title-winning success and writing her name into Hibernian folklore by sensationally scoring the winning goal on the final day of the campaign at Ibrox versus Rangers to ensure the league trophy returned to Leith for the first time in 18 years.
The versatile defender unfortunately suffered a long-term injury towards the end of the 2025/26 season.
This contract extension will allow Taylor to continue her rehabilitation at the Club and return to action following her recovery.
In total, Taylor has made 53 appearances in Green and White and has scored six goals for the Club in all competitions.
After signing on until 2028, Taylor said: “I’m pleased to have my future settled and to continue my rehabilitation here at Hibs.
“My focus over the coming months is on recovering properly, supporting the team in any way I can and putting myself in the best position to return when I’m ready.”
