Hearts have confirmed that coach Ross Grant has left the club to join William Hill Premiership rivals, Celtic.
The Parkhead club say that Grant will have a focus on set piece analysis, coaching and player development.
They confirmed he is a lifelong Celtic fan.
Grant was a key member of Hearts’ coaching staff as they finished runners-up to the Parkhead cub last season.
However, Celtic have been working to develop their backroom team in recent weeks and Grant holds a UEFA ‘A’ licence. He previously worked for Dundee United.
Martin O’Neill (pictured by Ian Jacobs), Celtic’s manager, said he welcomed Ross to his team and added: “I know he is a highly-rated coach.”
Hearts issued a two paragraph statement and thanked Ross for his contributions during his stint at Tynecastle.
