Livingston head to Tayside on Saturday to face Dundee a club who know that a win over The Lions would secure their top flight status.

And Dens head coach, Steven Pressley, said: “It is an opportunity we don’t want to give up.”

Dundee, however, go into the game minus top goalkeeper, Jon McCracken, whose season is over after he injured ankle ligaments.

Ex-Hearts defender Pressey said the positive news on McCracken is that he does not need surgery and he stressed has faith in back-up goalkeeper, Kieran O’Hara.

Dundee’s challenge on Saturday is, argued Pressley, harder as the West Lothian club have been relegated and can pay without anxiety or pressure.

Of course, Livi go into the game after their 2-2 home draw against Aberdeen and the club have announced that Livi Self Storage are to renew as the men’s front-of-shirt sponsor for next season.

The firm first came on board at the start of the 2024/25 season.

Tickets for the Dundee game are still available and the club have confirmed that tickets are also available for their final away trip of the season. That is to Dundee United on Tuesday, May 12 (19.45).

The club’s final match of the season is at home to Kilmarnock on Sunday, May 17 (2pm).
