Livingston have confirmed the singing of midfielders Cammy Palmer and Liam Polworth as they continued to build a squad for next season in the Championship
Pamer joins on a pre-contract from Glentoran FC and the 26-year-old midfielder arrives in West Lothian with an impressive range of experience across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the United States.
Versatile Palmer is also capable of operating in both attacking and defensive midfield roles.
The former Northern Ireland under-21 international made ten appearances at that level. He was born in York and raised in Canada before moving to Scotland.
He came through the youth ranks at Rangers, captaining the club’s reserve side during his development at Ibrox and had loan spells at Partick Thistle, Clyde and with American side Orange County SC before making the move to Northern Ireland with Linfield in 2021.
There he won back-to-back NIFL Premiership titles as well as the Irish Cup, while making more than 70 appearances for the Belfast side.
Palmer, now aged 26, joined Glentoran in 2023 and became an important figure in midfield.
Meanwhile, Polworth began his career with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, progressing through the youth ranks before establishing himself as a key figure in the first team. During his time in the Highlands, he was part of the Inverness side which lifted the Scottish Cup in 2015 and also the Challenge Cup three years later.
After making over 200 appearances for Inverness, Polworth moved to Motherwell, where he enjoyed a further two seasons in the Premiership as well as playing, and scoring, in the Europa League.
A move to Kilmarnock followed and the Rugby Park side won the Championship at the first attempt to return to the top flight with Liam playing the first-half of the season there and the second-half on loan at Dunfermline.
The 31-year-old returned from his loan spell for the start of the 2022-23 season and has featured in over 150 games since, including further appearances in the Europa League and Europa Conference League.
