Hearts supporters gather in Edinburgh to watch the match against Celtic on TV

Hundreds of Hearts supporters were gathering outside pubs in Gorgie on Saturday morning including Bensons and the Tynecastle Arms waiting for the doors to open.

This is where most fans will watch what could be a historic match played at Celtic Park. Only 752 fans will watch inside Celtic Park due to ticket allocations which are within the control of Celtic FC to their 60,000 capacity stadium.

On 7 May Hearts put out the message that all tickets for the final match had gone. Their post on their site said: “Ticket for Hearts’ final William Hill Premiership match of the season away to Celtic have SOLD OUT.

“Your unrivaled support continues to amaze, Jambos. Thank you.”

Hearts are unbeaten against Celtic this season. The Jambos have won every home match but still their road to this elusive title – last won 66 years ago – has been a tough one. This included a controversial
VARdecision which went Celtic’s way.
