A 34-year-old man has died at a property in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh following an incident on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to Watson Crescent shortly after 6am and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were deployed to guard the locus and a forensic team were summoned.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an assault in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow Monday 15 December 2025.
A police spokesperson said: “A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of man in Edinburgh.
Around 6.10am on Saturday, 13 December, 2025, we were called to a report of a death at a property in Watson Crescent.
Emergency services attended and a 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 34-year-old is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 15 December, 2025.
