Hearts have confirmed that Dutch right-back Jordi Altena will join the club after agreeing a deal until the summer of 2029.
The 22-year-old moves from RKC Waalwijk for an undisclosed fee and he is described as an attacking full-back who has a knack of providing assists.
Altena made his senior debut in September 2023 and he joins the William Hill Premiership pace-setters on January 1.
Derek McInnes (pictured), Hearts’ head coach, said: “We have a strong squad here, but I have spoken before about strengthening in some areas and I feel that’s what we have done by bringing Jordi in.”
