Police Scotland are aware of several reports of a Badger Sett, having been deliberately blocked in the Longniddry area of East Lothian.

A badger sett is an underground network of tunnels and chambers that badgers use for shelter, breeding and protection.

Officers are now appealing for any information regarding anyone who has been monitoring the sett.

A police spokesperson said: “If anyone has any information in relation to this incident or have been monitoring the sett recently, please contact Police Scotland quoting incident 1963 of 14/11/25 via 101 or emailing [email protected]”
