Two people have been arrested in connection with various retail offences in Leith and the Southside areas.
On Tuesday 14 October a 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with four crimes that took place within the Southside across September and October.
He has been reported and given bail conditions not to return to the area.
A 32-year-old woman was then arrested in relation to 22 offences in the Leith area, including shoplifting, reset and fraud.
She was scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday 17 October.
A police spokesperson said that the Retail Crime Taskforce continues to support local officers tackle crimes of this nature.
