An investigation is underway after a serious assault in Edinburgh.
The incident took place on Firrhill Nuek in Oxgangs around 8pm last night, Tuesday 14 October 2025.
Emergency services attended the scene which was later cordoned off to facilitate the investigation.
A man was taken to hospital where he received treatment.
Officers said that their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Tuesday, 14 October, 2025, we received a report that a man had been seriously assaulted at Firrhill Nuek, Edinburgh.
“He received treatment at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
