Hibs head coach Gray has confirmed positive news on Jamie McGrath, who was substituted against Livingston last weekend.
Hibs travel to Pittodrie today to face a resurgent Aberdeen who will be looking for a third successive league win.
And McGrath is available to face his former team.
There is also positive news about Miguel Chaiwa, Elie Youan and Joe Newell.
Speaking ahead of the game Gray said: “Jamie’s fine. He’s trained twice this week already, which is really positive. It was probably that stage of the game as well where we were looking to try and freshen up in the middle of the pitch.
“It’s also really positive that Miguel [Chaiwa got on the pitch. He got some much-needed minutes into him. It’s also another week’s training for Elie Youan and Joe Newell. We’ll just see how Joe goes. He’s probably not going to be quite available for this weekend again, but he’s coming on all the time, which is really positive.
“I’ve got a really strong group at the minute, with 23 players that are all fighting to try and get into that starting XI. It’s really competitive in training, which is positive.”
