Edinburgh Zoo is bidding a fond farewell to Haggis the pygmy hippo with her own goodbye card ahead of her last weekend in the capital.
In her time at the Zoo, Haggis became a viral sensation, being featured on NBC’s Saturday Night Live and receiving a public apology from Greg James after she was called ‘not cute’ on his BBC Radio 1 show.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland has recommended visitors book tickets to say their goodbyes this weekend, with the last guaranteed date to see her being Sunday 26 October.
Tickets can be booked online in advance at a discounted rate edinburghzoo.org.uk/tickets
