The death of a man who was found unconscious on a street in Gorebridge this morning Thursday 11 September 2025 is not being treated as suspicious by police.
Emergency services were called to Hillside Crescent South shortly after 8am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10am on Thursday, 11 September, 2025, police received a report a man had been found unconscious on Hillside Crescent South, Gorebridge.
“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
