A major police operation is ongoing in the west of Edinburgh.
Emergency services attended the property in Broomhall Terrace just before noon today.
A black police tent has been erected at the front of the house.
Numerous police vehicles and an ambulance were spotted on the scene and the road was closed.
Officers were seen directing traffic and pedestrians away from the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are executing a search warrant in connection with an ongoing investigation.”
Further update 6pm: A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Thursday, 7 August, 2025, officers executed a search warrant in the Broomhall Terrace area of Edinburgh in relation to an ongoing investigation.
“There was no wider risk to the public. Enquiries are continuing.”
