An exhibition of photographs featuring the Bass Rock by North Berwick’s Pat Christie will run during this year’s Fringe By The Sea, marking the photographer’s third exhibition since April this year.

The photographs have been taken at various points since Pat discovered her talent for capturing beautiful sunrises in particular shortly after moving to the town in 2010. There are also shots from Pat’s recent trip to the Bass three weeks ago, fulfilling a longheld ambition to visit the Rock.

Pat said: “At 76, I wasn’t sure that I could tackle the landing, never mind the 200 steps to climb up onto the Rock, but I did it and my goodness, I’m so chuffed that l did! It was well worth the effort.”

The pictures will be on display at CHANDLERS, in the town’s High Street, with a Prize Draw to win a Digital Camera running throughout the event.

A Digital Camera donated by Pat is the main prize, which she hopes will encourage others to get into photography.

She said:”I get so much enjoyment from taking pictures, that I want to give some else the chance to do the same.”
