Livingston qualified for the next round of the Premier Sports Cup with an emphatic 6-0 win over Scottish League One side, Kelty Hearts.
Four goals came inside the first 38 minutes of the Group H fixture and the other two arrived after 85 and 86 minutes.
Earlier, Aidan Denholm was on the bench after signing from William Hill Premiership rivals Hearts on a three-year year deal, the 21-year-old having made his professional debut in 2021 in a 3-0 win over Cove Rangers.
And Livingston started on front foot, driving into the Kelty rearguard in their first attack. They won a corner on the right and the ball was lifted high into the box by Graham Carey and Andy Winter rose to nod home into the far corner. Time 1 min.
Carey then threatened at the edge of the box and his shot was blocked before Adam Montgomery tried his luck but the Kelty defence cleared the danger.
Livingston dominated early possession, hemming in Kelty despite the Fifers working hard to plug gaps.
Winter continued to threat down the right and, with Montgomery pressing in midfield, they were difficult opponents.
The visitors introduced a Trialist for Craig Clay after 11 minutes as Livingston pressed forward, Finlayson finding his dangerous cross scrambled to safety, but the visitors broke and forced a corner after 14 minutes. It came to nothing.
Robbie Muirhead drifted into the right wing with Winter switching inside and the duo threatened, Winter sending in a cross which his team-mate just failed to connect with.
The one-way way traffic continued and Winter almost sent Finlayson in again as Kelty boss Thomas O’Ware barked instructions from his dugout area.
The attacks kept in coming. Mo Sylla shot over from 25 yards then Adam Montgomery then tried his luck with Carey and Daniel Finlayson involved and he converted after 27 minutes.
Then Livingston won a free kick when Sylla was bundled over and Muirhead rifled home into the bottom left hand corner from 25 yards for No 3. Time 29 minutes.
The Lions were in easy street and Carey combined with Muirhead to set up another chance.
Kelty did break free but Wilson was there to sweep up at the other end before Muirhead rose to nod home a Finlayson cross with 38 minutes on the clock. Scoreline 4-0.
Before half-time, Livingston captain Ryan McGowan rifled a ball to the left wing for Carey and his cross was met by Muirhead but the ball was cleared.
Winter then rampaged down the right and sent a cross towards Scott Pittman whose shot fizzed against the crossbar and was cleared.
Kelty must have relished the half-time whistle for some respite, and Livi boss David Martindale introduced Denholm and Sam Culbert at the break for Pittman and Finlayson.
It was the same script, Kelty desperately defending and defender Danny Wilson headed over from an early corner.
Denholm was involved in link play and Muirhead was denied by a desperate block as Livingston searched for more.
Kelly broke out of the straight jacket and slackness put Montgomery under pressure. McGowan mopped up after a Prior block.
The Fife-based team made three more changes and Livingston brought in Stevie May for Denholm who suffered an injury.
Surprisingly, Livingston did not create as they had been in the first half, but Winter forced a good save from Corey Armour after 77 minutes and that signalled a surge.
Carey forced Armour to dive for a left foot shot from the edge of the box and Muirhead then thrashed a left foot free kick towards goal which Armour parried. Then, substitute Shane Blaney fired home seconds later for No 5 after 85 minutes.
And a minute later, Stevie May headed home unmarked following a cute chip from Carey.
Winter then forced a desperate clearance for a corner before busy Carey flashed a drive just wide but the scoreline stayed the same, 6-0 for the hosts.
Livingston enjoyed 22 shots against one and had 67 per cent of possession against 33 per cent from the opposition, showing their dominance.
Results elsewhere saw Kilmarnock top Group H with ten points followed by Livingston on nine, East Fife on six, Kelty Hearts on five with Brora Rangers of the Highland League propping up the division with no points.
