James Dunn paid tribute to fellow Corstorphine Athletic Club runners for their support and assistance after winning the INGNight Marathon Luxembourg in 2 hours, 29 mins and 0.4 seconds.
Competing in only his fourth marathon James was on familiar ground having spent much of his childhood and teenage years in Luxembourg and taken out dual citizenship with the UK.
It was when starting a Sports Science degree at Edinburgh University followed by a Masters at Napier University that James became aware of the Corstorphine Club and on starting a job in the Capital signed up and proudly sported a club vest as he came out top in an event which attracted 17,000 entrants in a variety of categories.

James’s wife, Sophie, is also a Corstorphine AC member.
He said: “I would like to give a shout-out to whole of the Moray Anderson’s training group for all the encouragement and help with the training. A special shout-out to Moray Anderson himself for all the help with putting together the training programme, and all the advice and encouragement throughout my time in CAAC.”
