A police investigation is underway following a serious assault in Edinburgh.
Officers were called to Royston Mains Road on Sunday afternoon in response to the incident.
A teenager was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers say that their investigation into the circumstances is continuing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.25pm on Sunday, 8 June, 2025, officers received a report of a serious assault on Royston Mains Road, Edinburgh.
“A 16-year-old male youth was taken to hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
